My second part of the adventures in Borneo. Now I am exploring the state of Sabah. I spent three days on the Kinabantangan River visiting a local family, where they immediately warned me not to wet my feet from the pier - there are crocodiles here. In the morning and evening we went out on a boat in search of animals, and between trips I enjoyed the incredible atmosphere. I saw proboscis monkeys in Labuk Bay, sun bears at the Sun Bear Conservation Centre, drank delicious organic tea at the Sabah Tea farm, relaxed in the Poring Hot Springs and watched the sunset on the legendary Tanjung Aru beach. We will also talk about why animals have a hard time on the island and who is to blame for this. 00:00 In this episode and where is Borneo 1:33 Life on the river with crocodiles. 10:11 Fish market in Sandakan 11:35 Cave with disgusting cockroaches 12:30 How they buried a thousand years ago 14:48 Palm oil - a cancerous tumor of Borneo 16:02 Nature reserve with proboscis monkeys 19:06 How you can donate to the smallest bear in the world 22:04 Tea party in a factory 24:16 Hot springs or a torture chamber? 28:25 Rafflesia - the largest flower in the world 29:34 Dinner at the food court 31:08 Sunrise with a view of the highest mountain in Southeast Asia 32:21 Mount Kinabalu National Park 35:47 How to turn a dairy farm into an amusement park 40:30 Impressions of driving on the island 41:39 A walk around the state capital.
