Borghettinho received his first accordion from his family as a toy, but after he discovered that music could come out of that little instrument, things changed. Today, in addition to reviving the tradition of instrument making, he encourages more than 500 children and teenagers to have contact with the diatonic accordion through the “Fábrica de gaiteiros” program.
