Bolt is an excellent movie, that's not denying. That said, I don't feel like it's one of the best animated movies of its year, since in 2008 god-level movies came out and this one... doesn't even have a villain. But what it does have are some pretty adult themes that are relevant to the world we live in now in 2024. Themes that concern Penny's character more than Bolt's character. And that's what this video is about. The movie is about Penny adopting a puppy, Bolt. And he grows up acting in the show of his same name without knowing that it's all an act. The dog lives with a lot of stress because of this. In one chapter, he is separated from Penny and when trying to rescue her, a sequence of events happen that end with him being sent by parcel (xD) to the other side of the country. Penny struggles with the loneliness and anguish of having lost her dog and her duty to continue doing her job so that everyone on the set doesn't lose theirs. Pressure that her executives put on her so she doesn't lose her payday. Can Penny and Bolt meet again? Can Penny escape the clutches of Hollywood and its abuse?
