This is the section from Byeolae Station to Amsa Station on the Byeolae Line, an extension of Seoul Subway Line 8, which opened and started running today (August 10, 2024). The Byeolae Line was promoted as part of a plan to improve regional transportation in the northeastern part of the metropolitan area, and construction began in September 2015, opening after 9 years. The total length is 12.9 km, and it starts from Byeolae and passes through Dasan Station, Donggurung Station, Guri Station, Jangja Lake Park Station, and Amsa History Park Station before connecting to Amsa Station. It took about 20 minutes to get from Byeolae Station to Amsa Station. Line Byeolaeseon, which was extended from exsted Amsa Station to Byeolae Station, was opened and started to run from today, Aug. 10, 2024. We try to get on the subway between two stations.
