Today, my friend and I took a ride in the legendary BMW E32 750i, which features a unique 5.0-liter V12 engine — the first to be developed and installed by BMW. This engine became iconic not only for its era, but for the entire automotive industry. It became the basis for many subsequent BMW models, and also marked the beginning of the development of engines that were later used in Rolls-Royce cars. After BMW acquired part of Rolls-Royce’s assets in the early 2000s, improved versions of this V12 began to be installed in models such as the Rolls-Royce Phantom and Rolls-Royce Ghost. Thus, the engine that first appeared in the E32 became an important part not only of BMW, but also continued to live on in the most luxurious cars of the British brand. This engine became the personification of engineering thought, power and refinement, creating an unforgettable feeling of comfort and smoothness. During our trip, we not only enjoyed the ride, but also stopped at a service station for diagnostics to make sure of the technical condition of this classic car. And, of course, the most important thing for us is the car itself, which, with each passing year, becomes more and more valuable, representing a real piece of history and a symbol of engineering art.
