This documentary, based on recent historical research, tells the true story of the Carmelites of Compiègne and evokes the current echo of their offering. Because these nuns, before going to the scaffold, "wanted to offer their lives so that this divine peace that the Son of God had come to bring to the world would be returned to the Church and the State". Ten days after their execution, the Terror ended (September 5, 1793 - July 27, 1794). The film follows the work of the small Carmelite team working on the cause of canonization, and offers testimonies from people touched by the Blessed.
