Mona and Younis are a young man and woman who loved each other until everyone in the village knew about them, but Hassan, the son of the Agha, wanted Mona and married her by force against her and her family. On the wedding night, young men who had an old grudge against the groom's father attacked the party and wanted to kill him. His son Hassan stands to protect his father from the bullet, so he is injured and dies at the same time. Hassan's mother watches her daughter-in-law Mona trying to drink poison to end her life because she is marrying a man other than Younis. A conversation takes place between them that Mona regrets after hearing the sound of gunfire at Hassan. The security insists on keeping Mona with her and prevents her from leaving the house, even to see her family and only friend. After a while, Hassan's family receives news that their other son will soon return from the military, so they decide what no one had expected, and Mona goes crazy after hearing this decision.
