To celebrate Black Awareness Week, Brasilianas.org discusses black people in Brazil. The program celebrates black culture in the country and takes stock of the contribution of black people to the formation of Brazilian society. This program also addresses the current state of prejudice, the advances in black activism and its diversity, and the historical legacy. To discuss the subject, the program welcomes the president of the Palmares Cultural Foundation of the Ministry of Culture, Eloi Ferreira de Araújo; the coordinator of the Center for Research Support in Interdisciplinary Studies on Black Brazilians at the University of São Paulo, Eunice Prudente; and the professor of the Anthropology Department at PUC-SP, Teresinha Bernardo.
