Made in 1952 by André Périé, this film tells us how the 141.P are built at the Batignolles-Châtillon locomotive construction company factory, located in Nantes. A powerful set of modern production facilities, the factory has seven workshops and a central assembly hall 150 meters long. From the casting of parts to the final assembly, all the stages of manufacturing a 141 P are carried out methodically and precisely. To meet the energy needs of the various activities, the factory is equipped with central stations distributing the necessary energy in all its forms (oxygen, gas, compressed air, electricity).
