The biofertilizer produced in a home composter is a super fertilizer to improve the health of our plants. It is also mistakenly called leachate, but it is actually liquid humus. You can collect it if you use a composter with a liquid collector. For this purpose, a bucket composter is highly recommended. Compost bin models also usually have this collector. Using liquid humus in our flowerbeds and pots, in addition to being a powerful fertilizer, will stimulate the colonization of our soil by beneficial microorganisms that will increase the nutritional quality of the vegetables, greens and fruits that we produce in our gardens and orchards. Making home compost is very rewarding and being able to use this homemade biofertilizer, a super fertilizer, is one of the rewards!
