Who told you it was hard to cut a carbon fibre handlebar? Nothing could be further from the truth, with a hacksaw and sandpaper you'll have a piece of cake. Wide or narrow? Choose the size according to your tastes or the answer you're looking for. Some handlebars are sold in the longest length so you can cut them to size. We know of an 820mm XC model, an unusually long length for Cross Country. Even though the handlebar comes with cutting marks of different sizes at the tips, it's worth checking, because it's not the first case we've seen where they differ from the real measurement, and if you're very "fine" you'll like to take it to the millimetre. The ParkTool cutting guide that you'll see in the video works for any material (aluminium, titanium, carbon...), it only requires a vice to hold it. And speaking of cuts, be careful! the classic plumbing pipe cutter doesn't work for carbon, only for metal handlebars. ????
