Our first choice in bicuspid aortic surgery is to perform the surgery while preserving the patient's own valve if the valve structure is normal. Our second choice is to replace it with a prosthetic valve. The prostheses we use here can be mechanical valves, biological valves, or patient-specific valves that we make from the patient's own heart membrane, which we call the Ozaki Method, can be used. #heartandmarsurgery #heartsurgery #heartdisease #aorta #bicuspid
