The Riedbahn between Frankfurt(M) and Mannheim will be renovated throughout the second half of 2024. Traffic will of course have to be diverted. One of the two main diversion routes is the Main-Neckar-Bahn, which connects Frankfurt(M), Darmstadt and Heidelberg. Since it is now November and I still haven't looked at the increased traffic, it was time before the Riedbahn is closed again. I looked at the traffic at the Bickenbach, Weinheim (Bergstr) Hbf and Neu Edingen/Friedrichsfeld stations. Here I show you what I experienced at Bickenbach station.
