He has published several intellectual and novelistic works, including: The Broken Mirror of the West; Politics and Religion in Morocco: The Dialectic of Sultan and Furqan; The Decline of the West; The Moor; The Bond of Al-Mutanabbi; and The Ornament of the World. In this episode, we explore with Dr. Hassan Aourid a number of political, intellectual and literary issues, distributed between the historical and intellectual relationship between the East and the West, the question of the current stage from the perspective of a historian, the state of intellectual vacuum that the Arab world is experiencing, and the imminent danger that populism represents globally and in the Arab world.
