Back to riding the Swiss trails on a MTB. This time I'm in the Bernese Alps a few kilometers from Interlaken for two days of pure MTB immersed in some of the most beautiful Alpine scenery in the world. This is an area unknown to me. During these days of vacation I decide to tackle the trails with the Orbea wild. A good choice given the excellent passability of the trails in these areas. We start from Grindelwald, a very characteristic and extremely touristy town for various reasons: the beauty of the area, the proximity of famous mountains such as Eiger, Monch and Jungfrau... to name a few, the always cutting-edge services and the possibility of reaching the so-called Terrace of Europe. In short, a spectacle. My day starts from the bottom of the valley and, not being able to take my bike on the cable car, I pedal up until I reach the Baach alp and the homonymous Baach lake. Here I am surprised by a storm and I take shelter in a Hut (mountain hut - hut - small refuge). Once the rain has stopped, I climb towards the Wart Pass between the Schwarzhoren and Wildgarst peaks. The goal is to reach the summit of the Wildgarst but the bad weather and persistent rain make me give up. I descend past the Blau Gletscherli (blue glacier), now reduced to the bone. The descent of the valley is along the Pfannibach stream and leads me (with a few unexpected events in between) to the Alpiglen Pass (I'm not sure if that's the name). From here down to Grindelwald to complete this epic day on an E-bike. Enjoy. TRACK/GPX: https://fatmap.com/routeid/3433786/tr...
