Home cinema on a budget: Fantastic movie experience without breaking the bank! Do you dream of a home cinema, but think it's too expensive and cumbersome? Then think again! In this video, I dive into three different budget-friendly projectors that surprise you in terms of both price and quality. Forget about expensive high-end solutions - now you can create your own cozy cinema experience at home without emptying your wallet. Many people have prejudices about projectors: Bad picture, noisy fans, difficult setup and a price that is far too high. These prejudices also applied to me before I tested the three projectors from Yaber. I was positively surprised! In fact, most of my criticisms were put to shame. Getting started for under 4,000 kroner Projectors are available in many price ranges, from a few thousand kroner to over 200,000 kroner. With a built-in battery that lasts up to 2.5 hours, it is perfect for taking on the go - whether it's with friends, at the summer house or on a camping trip. It is equipped with Google TV and built-in speakers, making it a complete entertainment solution. The brightness is acceptable, but not impressive. The focus here is clearly on portability and ease of use. Brightness: 450 ANSI Lumens Price: 3,299 kroner Yaber U12: Smart and compact The U12 is also designed with portability in mind and is a smart upgrade from traditional projectors. Like the T2, it has built-in speakers (JBL) with surprisingly good sound and supports Bluetooth for external speakers. Brightness: 700 ANSI Lumens Price: 2,999 kroner K2s: Best value-for-money The K2s is the most expensive of the three, but offers significantly more for the money. Here you get higher brightness and even better sound. All three models also have a low noise level, which was a positive surprise for me, as I am very noise-sensitive. Brightness: 1000 ANSI Lumens Price: 3,799 kroner Image and experience Projectors work best in dark environments, but it is also about your needs. These projectors are ideal for cozy evenings, games and entertainment, but not optimal for the terrace in full daylight. During the test period, I have used the projectors for films, series, sports and even PlayStation games. The experience has been fantastic! I tested them on a wall with a felt structure, which actually had a positive effect, especially with films and series. It gave the feeling of watching an old-fashioned 35mm film – a pleasant “analog distortion” that added something special to the experience. Although none of these projectors are 4K, the 1080p output is more than fine in this context. All three models have autofocus and automatic keystone correction, which makes setup easy and quick. Conclusion: Home cinema for everyone I started with a number of criticisms of projectors: Cumbersome setup, poor picture, noise and high price. These three Yaber models have put most of my prejudices to shame. The image quality is surprisingly good, the noise level is minimal, and the price is absolutely affordable. The only small challenge is still finding the optimal location in the room. For my own needs, I would choose the K2s. It offers the best combination of price and performance and has won several awards internationally. With a price of around 3,800 kr. you really get value for money. It is important to emphasize that these projectors are not for the hardcore home cinema enthusiast who demands the absolute best. But for those who want a great home theater experience every now and then, these budget-friendly projectors are a great option.
