A beautiful, well-attended restaurant with good food, fresh dishes and a motivated team - that's every restaurateur's dream! At first glance, everything seems perfect at "Bertlwieser's" in Rohrbach, Austria. The restaurant of trained chef Michael Bertlwieser (28) attracts many guests every day. He works around the clock and still doesn't make a fortune because the restaurant hardly makes a profit. After deducting all costs, the boss only gets a meager salary. His partner Christa (28) even gave up her training as a police officer to work at "Bertlwieser's". Now she too is left with almost nothing. The livelihood of the young couple and that of the employees is at stake. The two Austrians simply cannot explain why the well-run "Bertlwieser's" is hardly making a profit. All they know is that they are slowly but surely on the brink of ruin professionally, privately and in terms of health!
