About :

May Day trip from 30.04 to 3.05.2022 in the Low Beskids. Accommodation in the town of Polany. We moved mainly in the areas of the Magura National Park, but also within the Jaśliski Landscape Park. We climbed, among others, Diabli Kamień, Przełęcz Hałbowska and Magura Wątkowska (500-800m hills). We cycled through areas in the vicinity of, among others: Krempna, Olchowiec, Huta Polańska. We visited the abandoned villages of Żydowskie, Ciechania and Świerzowa Ruska, where once the life of the Lemkos displaced from here was vibrant, and now only traces of former human presence remain. We saw preserved Orthodox churches as well as remains in the form of Orthodox churches, old cemeteries and roadside shrines. We traveled along forest trails, admired nature and the surrounding mountains. And all this in the Beskid Niski, still rarely visited and therefore not trampled. I invite you.
