The new CLA will be based on the MMA (Mercedes Modular Architecture) platform that supports both electric and gasoline powertrains. The new CLA will be the first car under the new platform, followed by the wagon body of the CLA Shooting Brake, and the next-generation Mercedes EQA and EQB. The new design starts at the front. We will see the star-shaped LED DRLs standing out, surrounded by circles, connected by long strips of lights running the width of the car at the front and rear. The next highlight is the grille that can light up and display various images. The interior of this concept car is equally outstanding, starting with the full-width MBUX Superscreen, similar to the Vision EQXX concept car that was launched earlier. It runs on the MB.OS operating system with voice-activated AI assistant system. The interior of the car is also made of recycled materials. As for the power plant, the car will come with both electric and internal combustion engines. Both rear-wheel drive and all-wheel drive are available. The EV version can drive up to 750 km on a single charge (WLTP standard). The new CLA will be the first Mercedes to use the 800V charging architecture, capable of fast charging up to 350 kW, and 10 minutes of charging will provide 36 kWh of power. It comes with a choice of two battery types: a 58 kWh LFP battery or an 85 kWh Silicon Oxide Anode battery that has higher energy density. In addition, the transmission will not be a single speed like conventional electric cars, but a 2-speed manual transmission, similar to the one we see in the Porsche Taycan. The hybrid powertrain will be all-new, consisting of a 1.5-liter, four-cylinder Miller-cycle engine working with an electric motor, generating maximum outputs of 134, 161 and 188 horsepower, depending on the tuning. Paired with an 8-speed Dual-Clutch automatic transmission, the hybrid model will focus primarily on front-wheel drive. The new generation of Mercedes-Benz CLA-Class It will be launched in 2025 as a 2026 model. What will this car look like? We will have to wait and see. ____________________________ For work inquiries, contact 📨 [email protected] 📞 Tel. 099-639-2544 Follow the 'best' in review stories at 🔔 Facebook: / tsuitreview 👉 TikTok: / tsuitreview 🎙️ Apple Podcast: https://apple.co/3Y5j5CU 🎙️ Spotify: https://spoti.fi/3HtXvkk ____________________________ Source: Mercedes-Benz Carscoops Autocar UK ____________________________ #Benz #CLA #Electric car #Review
