Hello people! After climbing the bell tower of Polesella, we continue the tour in Polesine towards Ficarolo, a beautiful town overlooking the Po River and located on the border between three regions: Veneto, Emilia Romagna and Lombardy. The symbol of this town is none other than the famous leaning bell tower of the archpriest's church which, with its 75.17 meters of height, makes it the second tallest bell tower in Polesine and the sixteenth tallest in Veneto, it is out of plumb by a good 3.10 m. During the earthquake of May 2012, the church and the bell tower suffered extensive damage leading the entire complex to be completely restored, making it one of the most beautiful baroque churches in the area. I take this opportunity to thank the Parish Priest Don Massimo who kindly started the solemn plenum (a ringing that is performed very rarely) with a duration of even 9 minutes!
