The bell ring was cast in Udine for the Portorož chapel. It was purchased in Lesce in 1984 and hung in 1986. The fourth bell was purchased from the Koroška Bela parish in 1986, when they bought new bronze bells there. Before the First World War, the Lesce parish church had 3 bells that rang in the minor triad: 1. Anton Samassa, 1840, 140cm, d' 2. Janez Koder, Villach, 1793, 112cm, f' 3. Johann Christian Riser, Kranj, 1758, 100cm, a' In addition to these, a bell by Albert Samassa from 1878 hung. It was 53cm in diameter (according to Mr. Lavtižar). We do not know whether Riser's bell is the same as the small bell described, since the striking tones are very different. Perhaps there was an error in the inventory. When the parishioners decided to purchase new bells in 1997, they wanted to incorporate the old bell into the bell tower with the new ones. So it now serves as a medium-sized bell. Many thanks go to the parish priest Mr. Marko Avsenik for visiting the bell tower and allowing the filming. Lesce parish website: https://zupnija-lesce.rkc.si/
