In the military prison, after the defeat of June 1967, the prison director, Al-Jaafari, executes a decision in complete secrecy, according to higher orders, to assassinate Mahmoud, one of the leaders of the national army, because he demands the trial of those who caused the defeat, while his daughter, Suhair, works in the office of the head of intelligence, Hashem Bey, who succeeds in recruiting her to spy on his university students. The university students hold a demonstration and demand the trial of those responsible for the setback. In the midst of the demonstration, she meets some revolutionary elements such as Dr. Hossam, the revolutionary professor, and the student Walid, a friendship develops between them. She confesses to Walid the nature of her work, and that she began to feel inferior as a result of participating in spying on them, and decides to help them. In one of the arrest campaigns that take place at that time, Hossam, Walid and his companions whom she knows are arrested to avoid torture in the prison. She is determined to take revenge on Al-Jaafari after she learns that he killed her father in prison. Their cunning goes to cause trouble between Hashem and Al-Jaafari. The two almost fall into each other's traps, but they end up with Suhair wanting to trap them. The intelligence services kill Suhair, and as for the students, they suffer severe torture.
