This delicious bean soup, Transylvanian style, has been made for decades in our family (Cluj, Sibiu, Arad). We can use both broad beans and pinto beans, yellow or green, fresh or frozen. Being a Transylvanian recipe, we add a fine piece of smoked ham (kaiser - see the recipe here: https://savoriurbane.com/kaiser-de-ca...) and season the "pea soup" with sour cream and garlic. It is a tasty and nutritious soup that you will definitely love too!
