The film is part of the learning material for the combat training given in the rookie period and in non-commissioned officer and reserve officer courses. In addition, the video is used in the training of the reservists and also the staff. The purpose of the video is to give trainees a realistic picture of the Defense Forces as a whole, the conditions of exceptional circumstances and the operating environment, as well as threat models and readiness regulation. The service center of the Defense Forces has produced an educational film on the order of the training department of the General Staff during the years 2016-2020. The film replaces the previous Battlefield film released in 1998.
