Hello. For World War II, the Japanese war plan was this: create a defensive perimeter and place their Imperial Fleet behind it to defeat any enemy fleet that tried to break through. But from the first months of the war, their American enemies were putting more and more pressure on that defensive line and on the Imperial lines of communication. They were suffering attacks from enemy aircraft carriers, long-range bombers and submarines. The officers of the Imperial Japanese Navy began to consider the possibility of launching a massive offensive and had not yet decided on their course of action when they suffered, on April 18, 1942, the attack of 16 B-25 bombers that took off from an aircraft carrier and attacked the same island of Japan. After this affront against their mother country, they were sanctioned to start planning the offensive against Midway. Two months later they launched the massive offensive against Midway with which they hoped to win the war, and they were roundly defeated. This is the story of what happened. Well, I hope you like this video. Sincerely, Victor Aguilar-Chang
