A battery computer is an important monitoring system for monitoring the available capacity of an on-board battery. Only battery computers with a measuring shunt are really accurate. This measures and monitors all currents and thus the exact charge level of the battery can be read at any time. In the video I explain how the Votronic and Büttner battery computers with Smart Shunt work and how to install them for 12V battery systems, e.g. in a motorhome.
