By popular demand, I will show you step by step how to make a basic knitted cardigan. In this first part, we will make the back and front of the piece. This green one in the photo is in size G and the one I am making in navy blue is size GG. I will leave the measurements and tips on how to make it below. Material: Círculo Confete yarn, size 6 knitting needle, tapestry needle, measuring tape and scissors. Stitches used: stocking, knit, hem 1/1. For size G I used 4 balls. On the back I cast on 80 stitches and on the fronts 45 stitches each. I worked 45 cm up to the armhole and another 22 cm up to the shoulders. The decreases are detailed in the video. For size GG I used 5 balls. On the back I cast on 90 stitches and on the fronts 50 stitches each. I worked 55 cm up to the armhole and another 22 cm up to the shoulders. The decreases are detailed in the video. See you in the next class! Follow me on social media: Instagram: @santana.lisandra Facebook: Lisandra Santana Artesanato
