Not only does its name bear the name of a world-famous dance art, but also its location. Barong Temple in DIY is located just a few inches from the Dawangsari stupa. Both temples are located at the height of Boko Hills. The origin of the name "barong" can also be traced and is quite interesting, because toponymically it is identical to a dance that is popular among the Javanese people.
