It hasn't happened yet this year, but finally for the first time this year on the barbel. The barbel is now in full spawning so not the best moment, but fortunately not impossible to hook one, as it turns out :) Setups: Feeder with maggots & corn: Open feeder 50 grams, attached to a swivel stopped by 2 sliding stoppers. Hook size 6 or 4 (Gamakatsu). Distance hook to the basket, 30 to 50 cm. Two corn kernels and two maggots as bait. Lead with cheese: Casting lead 70/80 grams, attached to a swivel stopped by 2 sliding stoppers. Hook size 6 or 4 (Gamakatsu). Distance hook to lead, approximately 60 cm. Adjust the size of the block of cheese to the hook.
