Om Swastyastu, We have been looking for references about Balingkang for several years. The Balinese people have known this ancient semi-mythical kingdom for a long time. Its existence is mixed in various classical Balinese arts such as Barong Landung, several types of baris dances, gamelan and even uang kepeng which are now an inseparable part of religious rituals. In fact, the existence of this kingdom is not mentioned much in inscriptions, almost none. The inscriptions only mention the name Singamandawa as the name of the Balinese kingdom, not Balingkang.
