Set the oven to 175 degrees (top and bottom heat). 2. Mix all the ingredients for the filling in a bowl and put in the pie tin. 3. In another bowl, mix caster sugar, salt, oatmeal, wheat flour and baking powder. 4. Melt the butter in a saucepan and then pour it into the bowl together with the syrup. Mix to a smooth batter and press it onto the berry filling. Carefully spread in an even layer over the berries. 5. Bake the pie in the middle of the oven for about 30-40 minutes or until it has a nice color. The pie is great to serve straight away, but it's great to serve it when it has cooled completely. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or lots of custard!
