Perhaps because of his focus on children's films, Milan Vošmik remains one of the most unjustly overlooked Czech filmmakers. In the filmography of one of the first FAMU graduates, however, in addition to fairy tales and films for the whole family, we also find the psychological drama Bad Monday. The film shows childhood not only as a period of carefree games, but also as the first traumas. Their trigger is a traffic accident in which a classmate of the young protagonist is seriously injured.
