“You see, I was a geek since I was little [she says, showing a childhood drawing in which the singer recreates a Vogue cover]. I have always loved it. My parents didn’t buy Vogue, because I am the one who is the most conceited in the family, as I have already said. But from time to time, when I had some money, I would get it; or even on a Sunday when my father went to get the newspaper, if he was going to talk, he would say to me: “Come on, buy Vogue.” We have invited Bad Gyal, the protagonist of our April cover, to create her own time capsule: in it, the artist keeps the most important objects of her life, the ones she wants future generations to remember her by: from that Vogue cover she drew herself on at the age of ten, to 'La Joia', her first album; a copy of Scorsese’s film 'Casino', the one that has most influenced her personal style, or the dose of bling-bling that can never be missing around her. Bad Gyal wears a corset, trousers and belt with rhinestones and a 3D butterfly in leather by Blumarine with open-toed sandals by Giuseppe Zanotti.
