ENG BELOW One of the most interesting long-distance treks to do on the Apennine chain. In this first video dedicated to the GAS: the first stage (customized) which roughly includes the first two official stages of the route. Perhaps the least spectacular from a panoramic point of view but the mountain always offers unexpected surprises, just to name one... having to climb through brambles and cliffs to get around a herd of Maremma sheep and their flock. This is the first stage of a long-distance hike that crosses the entire mountain chain of Sibillini in central Italy. It is called Grande Anello dei Sibillini. It is 124 Km long divided into 9 stages with more then 5,000 m of total positive height difference. Take your shoes on and come walking with us.
