• Date: 22/12/13 (Tue) • Location: Seonjaryeong, Pyeongchang, Gangwon-do (1,157m) • Distance: Approximately 8.2km • Time: Approximately 3 hours • Course: Daegwallyeong Guksa Seonghwangsa → Saebong → Seonjaryeong → Return to starting point (http://trgg.kr/t/M5291u) Hello, this is Misun☺ I finally started my first winter backpacking trip at Seonjaryeong! But the day I went was a market day.. The cold spell has started and it's snowingㅎㅎ The wind chill was -24 degrees Celsius, and the wind gust was 21m/s!!! Seonjaryeong was windier than I expected..ㄷㄷ I didn't plan on such extreme conditions, but if you can't avoid it, you have to enjoy it, right?ㅎㅎ When I pitched my tent, I realized I positioned it wrongly, blocking the windy directionㅠ I need to check the wind direction carefully and pitch.. I'm learning another thingㅎㅎ We pitched our tent on a hill, but please note that it's less windy in the forest on the opposite side!
