Caillou is an animated series for children based on the books by the author Christine L'Heureux and the illustrator Hélène Desputeaux. The series is characterized by the fact that it is kept quite simple to understand and reflects everyday challenges. Meet Caillou, the lovable four-year-old with his endless imagination! Caillou is easy to understand and like immediately, because Caillou sees everything around him through his amazed child's eyes: the first day at school, how to properly care for a pet, trying out a new sport or simply having a great time with his family. Preschoolers will immediately feel at home with their lovable friend Caillou, and also with his sister Rosie and the whole family and the many friends who all experience the small and big adventures of childhood together every day. Caillou helps his mom to clean out the attic. They find an ancient, mysterious box, which they open. Inside are all kinds of amazing objects that are probably not worth much money, but are somehow still really precious treasures. The whole family goes camping in the woods for the weekend. When Caillou puts his feet in the lake, he marvels with wide eyes at the many small fish tickling his feet. He climbs a mountain with his dad and can't think of anything else but his greatest wish: to see a moose before they go home! Caillou is invited to dinner at Sarah's and discovers a whole new food and, above all, a completely new way of eating it. Namely with chopsticks - and Caillou has so much fun with it that he even tries to eat his bedside table with them! Caillou and his mom meet a very strange woman in the park. Caillou immediately runs up to her because she has a very sweet dog sitting next to her. Then he notices that the dog isn't wearing a leash at all, but rather its own harness with straps.
