For this, it is necessary to create a world-leading center of defense innovation - "Defense Valley" similar to Silicon Valley. This should become part of the defense strategy for the next 10 years. Such a center can make Ukraine as necessary for the world in the field of defense innovation as Taiwan is in the field of chip production. For this, it is necessary to attract not only global capital, but also engineering, organizational, managerial talents. This should become a priority of national development. The solution of this issue solves a number of other issues for the country: 1) tactical issues of defense to deter the enemy; 2) strategic issues of defense, where Ukraine becomes a wall and a fortress; 3) economic issues, because the defense industry can become a significant part of exports; 4) issues of demography and culture — Ukraine's global positioning in the innovation sphere will allow attracting highly intelligent personnel, not low-skilled labor.
