"Agioupa" - Anestis Vlacho's first film. In 1954, the distinguished Greek-American director Grigoris (Greg) Tallas arrives in Greece, who searches through the various schools for a protagonist for his film "Agioupa", who had to meet the criteria of a scrawny country boy. A doctor (Mihalis Nikolinakos) who sympathizes with her, offers her shelter but Ayoupa leaves when she discovers that he loves another woman. Two villagers (Anestis Vlachos - Dinos Theodorelos) who want to rape her, clash fiercely with each other and one is killed. The villagers consider her a witch and lynch her. Titled 'Bed of Grass', and dubbed into English, the film was released in the United States and England, where it was a notable success, hence the English subtitles on the video.
