Born in 1967 in Istanbul, Aynur Haşhaş started the Voice Education Department of ITU Turkish Music State Conservatory in 1983 after completing her primary and secondary education. She transferred to the Department of Fundamental Sciences in order to make compilations upon the advice of Nida Tüfekçi Hoca and completed her university education in 1991. Since 1987, the artist has been traveling around Anatolia conducting compilation, research, and folk song compilation studies on folk dances and semahs. Since 1990, she has been conducting studies on traditions & customs and Anatolian beliefs. Aynur Haşhaş is also interested in all areas of art, performs folk dances at an advanced level, does the semah, and is interested in tango. The artist has also collected all the accumulation of her literary life and compiled it into a book. In addition to her social work, Aynur Haşhaş continues to work on albums professionally. Her works include Anadolu'nun Kayıp Şarkıları Geçti Gönül Baharımız Yazımız and Transborders Project works with a rock sound infrastructure. In addition, the song "Meyhaneci" from the movie La Femme du Veme (The Mysterious Woman), which is a joint production of France&England&Poland and directed by Pawel Pawlikowski, was adapted to the big screen with Aynur Haşhaş's interpretation. The musical director of Aynur Haşhaş's first album was Mazlum Çimen and the second was Arif Sağ. After two professional names, the artist sat in the director's chair herself and brought to life the instrumental albums Halaya Davet, Harman 1 and Harman 2 along with her latest album Revan.
