Here I share with you one of the most typical faults that occurs in a gray label Avatec source; considering the replacement of the component (double diode) S1645CT = 16 Amp, 45 Volts of reverse peak; by a SB3040PT = 30 Amp, 40 Volts of reverse peak. Reverse peak voltage is the voltage that the diode supports in blocking state and the voltage that the changed component must support does not even reach 5 volts.
