I visited Belemedik Nature Park for you, where the colors of autumn can be seen in the most beautiful way. You can also go to Gülek Castle and take photos as if you were on the edge of a cliff. Enjoy the view. Belemedik Valley, which is an ecosystem formed by the combination of forest, mountain and stream, is a unique place for day vacation, nature and photography enthusiasts with its natural structure, unspoiled visual and physical landscape values, rich nature view, flora, fauna and century-old plane trees that contain all the colors of yellow and green. There are also structures and a cemetery used by German personnel who served here during World War I. The Nature Park is 117 km from Adana and 9 km from Pozantı. The Adana-Ankara Train route passes through the valley and there is a station in Belemedik. The castle, whose foundations date back to the Middle Ages, is located at a strategically important point. The reason for this is that this is a place where an entrance fee is charged and it is on the road to Tarsus. According to the architectural plan, stonework and surface findings, it is understood that the castle was inhabited in different periods. The castle, which was administered under the patronage of aristocrats for a while, is mentioned by Smbat as the Lord of Gülek in the coronation list of 1198-1199.
