Awareness of functioning on the autism spectrum is growing. More and more attention is being paid to the diagnosis, therapy and emotions of neuroatypical people. As knowledge on this subject grows, it turns out that women on the spectrum often have to go a much longer way to learn the mechanisms of their functioning. Girls often do not receive a diagnosis at a young age because... they function too well. How do the symptoms of women and girls on the autism spectrum differ from the symptoms that are noticed in men and boys? Where is the problem with diagnosis? How can you support the development and functioning of girls and women on the autism spectrum? What are the most common myths about the autism spectrum? These and many other questions will be answered by Renata Sikorska, a psychologist conducting diagnosis and therapy for children and adolescents experiencing all kinds of mental difficulties - including those on the autism spectrum. The meeting will be led by Joanna Flis.
