Both Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) and Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) are neuropsychiatric conditions characterized by a behavioral picture. It is very common for people with autism, especially mild autism (level 1), to also have ADHD (around 80%). However, the use of psychostimulant medications such as Ritalin and Venvanse for specific cases of overlap between the two conditions is not always entirely beneficial.
