"Sohrab Sepehri" is one of the names of contemporary Iranian literature and art. He has also been nicknamed "Poet of Nature". Sepehri's childhood years were spent in Kashan. Both his parents were artists. Sepehri spent the first and second decade of his life with science and art. He spent the third decade of his life experimenting and traveling and the fourth decade mostly in long trips. It was during this period that he traveled many times to: Japan, France, Italy, India, America and many other countries of the East and West. In some of his poems, Sohrab's poetic language is simple and pure, and in others, it is mixed with mystical and philosophical themes and concepts, along with symbols that are the product of his travels and familiarity with "Buddhist", "Brahmanic" religions, and the thoughts of "Krishna Murthy", a famous mystic. It is contemporary Indian and also the thought of great Iranian and Islamic mystics. Apart from this, Sohrab was also familiar with European literature and several translations have been left by him. Sohrab Sepehri's life ended after 52 years in May 1359 with cancer. In the meantime, Sohrab's acquaintance and friendship with the great pillars of Persian literature and above all "Nima Yoshij" and "Forugh Farrokhzad" show his literary taste. Sepehri was friends with all the great poets of his time and at the same time he maintained his independence. There is no example of tension and crisis in any of the pages of his life. Sepehri's way is the way of art and in this way he prefers silence over everything. The best proof of this claim is the slow and gradual publication of his works. Sepehri published his works in a calm atmosphere and in the quietest and most controversial parts of the 30s and 40s, and after 1345 he did not write poetry for a long time. He has closely seen the political and social developments of his life years, and perhaps one of the reasons for Sepehari's isolation lies in the twists and turns of the historical fluctuations of his time. The publication of two long poems "Sada Pai Ab" and "Traveler" as well as the poetry collection "Green Volume" is one of the honors of this renowned poet. #Behrouz_Razavi #Sohrab_Sephari #Ktab_Goya
