They contacted me with a problem: the tachometer on an Audi 80 B4 does not work. I fixed the problem, the tachometer assembly needs to be replaced because there are no spare parts for it. The owner bought another tachometer somewhere in the ads, brought it to me and I installed it. But the tachometer is lying and shows more revolutions at idle than necessary. I suggested that the owner try to adjust the tachometer, fortunately this can be done there. But the owner, after talking with the seller, decided that he would go to him and change it for another exactly the same tachometer. The result is this: The seller of the tachometer himself changed one tachometer in the dashboard for another and installed it in place. Everything worked fine for a couple of minutes, and then the whole panel went out. And that guy, citing the late hour, sent the owner home, without solving the problem. And the owner comes to me again with this problem. And the reason turned out to be banal...
