We present the work we carried out on our Atider ranch for the planting of high-yield corn in 2022. Due to the experiences we had in the last 2 years in planting corn on the Atider ranch and that all of you have seen and in which we harvested around 30 tons / ha, we realized that semi-tropical corn with 18 to 20 leaves behaves very differently from the temperate corn with 14 to 15 leaves that we used in China, which easily support high density. Likewise, due to the results we had in Querétaro in the previous cycle where we applied the narrow furrow concept and it gave us very good results even though the management was not as precise or intensive as we do on our Atider ranch, this cycle we decided to explore this narrow furrow planting system on our Atider Ranch. The performance goal that we set for this cycle is to harvest 30 tons / ha of corn grain at 14% humidity, for which we planted a little more than 5 hectares, of which 4 hectares have a population of a little more than 200 thousand seeds / ha and the rest have a population of 135 thousand seeds in a furrow topology of 70 cm between centers and with 30 cm between sowing rows and 40 cm between rows. We are using 3 Novasem materials and 2 pre-commercial materials that we are developing at Atider. We treat the seed with Fortenza Duo from Syngenta and HY Roots from Exsotec to prevent diseases and pests and above all to promote vigor and uniformity of germination and early massive rooting. The seeder we use is a new high-performance model from the Mexican company Famaq that pleasantly surprised us with the ease and accuracy it achieves in the correct distribution of the seed, fertilizers and granulated insecticide. Nutrition, which along with water is the factor that most increases yield, is designed based on soil analysis, a goal of harvesting 30 ton/ha and using the software we have developed at Atider and with fertilizers from the Mexican company Ferco and micronutrients from Exsotec. Herbicide control is pre-emergent. We use Syngenta products and a sprayer from the Brazilian company Jacto, which is very high technology and superior application quality.
