We overcame anxiety and tension at an altitude of 4,800 meters to cross Paso Jama, facing its closure due to the Covid-19 pandemic. In the thrilling penultimate episode of the series, we left San Pedro de Atacama, crossed the Cordillera at minus 8 degrees, got to know extraordinary roads and landscapes, overcame rivers of mud that blocked the highway and, after passing through Salta, Cafayate and Tafí del Valle, we arrived at Termas de Rio Hondo. Get ready for the twists and turns of the longest episode of the series so far! ----------- ATACAMA EXPEDITION Series In this documentary web series, I portray the motorcycle expedition that took place between March 2nd and 18th, 2022, heading to the Atacama Desert, leaving the interior of the state of São Paulo in Brazil, crossing Argentina, and arriving in Chile. For 17 days and traveling 8,560 km, we explored this unique region of the world with mountains, deserts, challenging roads, extreme temperatures and high altitudes. The Andes mountain range is spectacular! The destination is truly fantastic. But the journey is as important as the destination. We lived experiences that are impossible to explain in words.
