At what depth to catch perch with a spoon is one of the key questions in winter fishing. The fact is that perch is constantly moving and it is not always easy to find it. Determining the horizon in which perch is currently most active is one of the starting tasks in its search. There are several ways to determine the optimal depth. This video is just an attempt to generalize some of the rules and show how it looks in practice. Perch is caught with a winter spoon in the waters of the Beloyarsk reservoir. Search locations are the Cheremshan Bay and up to the Black. The Beloyarsk reservoir (Beloyarka) in this place is characterized by a variety of relief - there are spits, floodplains and navels in the sea with different depths. Winter spoons were used - leaf-topedka, marapedka, unnamed. The optimal depth on this day was 1.5-2.5 meters along the coastline, and on the relief the perch was active at depths of 3-3.5 meters.
