Thousands of schoolchildren parade through Kempen with their lanterns on St. Martin's Eve. The St. Martin's Day festival has a long tradition in the city on the Lower Rhine. Our MOMA reporter Michael Heussen himself walked in the parade as a child and knows the fascination of the festival well. On this day, political convictions no longer play a role. Three men who could not be more different work hand in hand for the St. Martin's parade.
