At the age of 75, Mary Roos' son sadly confirmed his mother's sad news. After her first singing performances in the Hotel Rolandseck owned by her parents Karl and Maria Schwab[1][2] in Bingen, Rosemarie Schwab performed in 1958 at the age of nine at a summer night festival organized by the carnival club in the neighboring hamlet in front of more than 800 guests; this is where she caught the attention of a record producer. At the age of nine, she released her first record, Ja, die Dicken sind ja so Gemütlich; in the feature film Die Straße, she sang the song Little Teenager Song, which is included on the B-side of the record, in a supporting role. She used her first name, Rosemarie, as her stage name.
